Fellowship Opportunities
Often jokingly referred to as “the Third Sacrament,” coffee hour is a tradition in most Episcopal churches and St. Matthew is no exception. However, at St. Matthew, fellowship time doesn’t end at coffee hour! We love to gather at many different times and work on all types of activities together. Here are the most active fellowship activities.
Coffee Hour
Parishioners take turns hosting the coffee hour following either the 8 or 10:30 a.m. Liturgy. Parishioners enjoy snacking on light refreshments including any of the following: baked goods, cheese and crackers, fruit or vegetable trays, chips and dips, with coffee, tea, juice, soda or water.
Classes & Outreach Ministries
When we gather to learn or help others, we create stronger bonds of friendship and a Christian Unity. Please review the options on the Adult Education page. There are also pockets of parishioners who join together for lunches, dinners and game times on irregular schedules. Just ask around and you’ll find people to join in with for any or all of these sorts of fellowship activities.
